During the educational cruise, you will learn a lot of information about the history of the waterworks in the context of the time. The program is suitable for all age groups. The spoken word is alternated with authentic sounds from the past, but also with music depicting the period in Czechoslovakia at the time and later in independent Slovakia.
The water reservoir was built in 1962-1967. A walk to the dam offers beautiful views of the surroundings and perfect relaxation.
Čičva or Čičava is a castle ruin from the 13th century standing above the village of Sedliská - a local part of Podčičva. It is located south of the Veľká Domaša reservoir at an altitude of 205 m above sea level. m. The castle was damaged by the last Rákoci uprising in 1711 and has been a ruin ever since.
